A couple of months ago I posted an ad looking for any old engines so I could play and restore them. One person came back and said he found a 1940's Johnson Iron Horse engine in hi barn. It looks complete and that's all we know right now. Does it run? That's why we call it restoration.
Does any one know the dollar value on these things? Usually anyone here would come by donations but how do we create a value?
I'd love to have it but not sure it's worth.
The guy is checking with his uncle to see if they're even willing to let it go.
