Default no gears

Hi guys i have a brute 10hp snowblower i lose my gears off and on i tired to ajust cable up plus looked at frition wheel one minute it works good the next nothing 2 years old done it scense it was new anyone no how to fix this maybe something i didn;t try thank you

I assume that your are blowing snow at the time. If so it sounds like snow/water is getting on the drive disk and causing the friction disk for engaging properly.

Did you try to operate the machine on dry pavement to see if it still slips. The would make troubleshooting it a little easier.

If it is water one of the main areas to look at is the belt cover.

Default Drive issues

First off, welcome to the Forum.

As far as your drive issue, what carl says has real merit as a probable cause of your issues. Beyond that, if you can provide both a model number along with any pictures of your machines drive mechanism - both would be helpful in attempting to assist you.
