Thank's again Jack, you had the parts I needed to make by old school 70's Ariens better, including a taller chute and the parts are cheaper than on ebay and you have many parts not listed on ebay. Great guy to get parts from and he works with you and gives advice on how to make things work, which is great too. Thank's Jack

Jackmels, did you happen to sell that belt shroud for the John Deere snowblower? I too am looking for the same item. Thanks

That sounds like a great start. What would that include as far as parts go? Or what would I still need? Let me know what info you need for the purchase. Thanks. Bryan

Hi, I just started on this forum and other posts suggested you might be the one to contact. I recently inherited a Ariens 10995 snow thro that I restored. Enjoyed doing it so much I could not pass on picking up another one that was being tossed. Only problem it is missing some major parts. Actually it is easier to list what I have which is the tractor, motorized portion, rakes, blower housing and fan. Needing gear case, shaft, and everything else that would mount and drive the rakes.

Let me know if this is something you would have and the cost. Any other advise would be highly appreciated.

Again the model # is 10995 ser# 052474. Sincere thanks for your consideration.

    Bryan Franck

I don't have a Gearbox, but I do have replacement gears available. If the gearbox itself is not broken, Usually only a New Gear will do the trick. Take it apart, and assess the damage. use my regular email jackmlnson@gmail.com

Jackmels, I am curious if you would still have a gearbox for a Ariens ST524, Model 924046-010657? If so, what would you ask for it? My snow blower was working fine until the scraper edge came loose and hung up under one of the augers. The shear pins did not break. The augers will turn when not under load, but you can definitely hear the worm gear hitting and missing as the impeller rotates. I have not taken the front end apart to determine exactly what is broke. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Thank you, in advance, for your assistance with this matter.

    Very Respectfully,

    Kurt.
