Hello From Northern New Jersey

Hey guys,

Just joined as I was looking for some info on an old snowblower I'm interested in buying. It's an old Honda HS50 track machine, she looks good, has both new belts, oil changed and is supposed to be in great shape. I'm driving 45 minutes to pick it up, hope it looks as good as described.

I'll be back with a photo and an update report.

Have a great day all.

Thank you guys, good to be here.

My brother was nice to drive up one hour with his Avalanche to pick up the Honda HS50. The owner just replaced the auger belt and drive belt with original Honda belts, changed the oil and was ready for storage. She started on the second pull and purrs like a kitten. Smooth and quite like she was not 30+ years old. She powered up the ramp to the bed of the avalanche at almost 4' off the ground at a crazy speed. Looking forward to changing the plug and maybe adding Roller Skid or some other gadget that I read about in the forum. Now to Impatiently wait for 8 months for some snow.

Looks like you are quite the automotive handyman. Nice mods to the Element.

Thank you RIT333,

Oh, I was trying to link the photo of the snow blower but I guess it linked my whole library. The Honda Element was a project on my sons' car, those are actually photos that I collected from the Honda Forum and the net. The finished work it's actually different but came out very nice, the cabinet is very useful and we were happy and impressed. I will post photos of the finished work soon.
