I just found this thread, and it looks like I'm the first to post some pictures!
I helped out my elderly neighbor last year when we got 2 feet of snow at once, when the plow guy never showed up to his house. I also helped a Navy wife neighbor who had nothing more than a shovel to clear her driveway! Her husband was out to sea in a submarine and they are both from San Diego, so they had no clue about Winters in New England! LOL!
This year in CT, we only got about 5 inches during Jonas (known as Anna here), so I didn't help anyone with clearing driveways.
But, I did see on the community forum on Facebook, a call for help to get a mail truck out of an unplowed parking lot so she could get back to the office. I replied that I had a Jeep and a tow strap, so I'd come and help!
Two other guys were there, so we ended up just pushing the truck onto the main road. I offered to follow her in my Jeep to make sure she got back to the Post Office, since it was a few miles of back roads that hadn't been plowed in quite a while, so they were slick and still getting more snow!

Back at the office with the rest of them!

On my way back home, I went down a hill and found a Taurus with its front end up on the guardrail. I stopped to see if they were ok and asked if they wanted me to tow it off of the guardrail.
A town cop then showed up and asked them if it was ok for me to tow them off the rail. The cop didn't think my Jeep would be able to do it, but it has an awesome drive system and great AT tires!

To go with the contest rules, I do promise to help neighbors with clearing their driveways if we do get some serious snow. We moved to this house a few months ago, so I've never helped them before.

I keep wondering where all the pics are, but then I got to thinking with all the snow some areas of the East coast got, most people may still be digging and snowblowing themselves out. Helping others right now might be more problematic if you got 30" on the ground where you live.

East Coast's 2016 Blizzard in NJ.
My new machine's first use, so much for breaking it in easy.
Next day making a path for the dogs I realized it would drive itself with the lever twist tied down.

Question

Bob,
Are you getting any "Good Samaritan" pics being set to you privately???
They sure don't seem to be showing up here in this thread.
Puzzling.......

She's ready to go but we have no snow !!!
I have never seen so little snow in my 48 years."
I had to purchase a snow blower for this to happen.
the snow usually reaches the top of the fence in the picture.
Sorry for the sideways picture

OK since we didn't get a lot of people posting pics, should I extend the contest through this midwest blizzard this week? Maybe through Feb 6th? What do you all think?
