I felt the engine is worth more in parts than whole. The Briggs and Stratton 9.00 205CC engines have the inherit defect of the faulty decompression mechanism on the camshaft so the camshaft is the only part I know to be defective and will not sell. So far, most of the parts have sold and I was right. I got more money in selling it off in parts so far than if I would have sold it whole. To have the camshaft replaced by an authorized B&S dealer would have cost nearly the same as a new replacement engine, the brand Ariens is currently using. Naturally there would be no way I'd get another Briggs and Stratton again specially after they sent me 1 pint of engine oil and two half ounce packets of fuel stabilizer and considered that a generous way of help me with the decompression issue. I was overwhelmed with Briggs & Stratton's generousity!
