My "New" Parmi

I added this vintage Parmi to the fleet a couple of days ago. I purchased it from a gentleman who said he got it at an estate sale of the original owner who never used it. I'm guessing it's from 1979. It has a rather crude design with a chain drive and centrifugal clutch. The auger is rotating whenever the machine is moving forward and the ground speed is controlled by the throttle speed. I'm sure it was an economy blower back in the day. My 1979 Glison is engineered like a Rolls Royce compared to the Parmi. I love the "Save Your Heart" and "Lazy Boy" decal.
Scot has this unit documented on his excellent snowblower site.

Garage
That is cool. Thanks for the pictures! I would venture to guess more 60s than late 70s.
