First time using my new deluxe 28 sho

We got 10.5 inches of snow & i finally got to try out the new blower. I'm happy to report it worked like a champ! The motor did bog I bit on the eod but she kept on chugging. I used 1st gear the whole time which was a comfortable speed for me & the machine. It throws plenty far for my needs.

The only issue I had was while throwing snow, the shoot started to turn on its own from the force of snow going through it. Does anyone think I can tighten that up? It seems like it's not too loose when i move it on my own but the snow goes through fast from the larger impeller & will move the shoot. I need that shoot to stay put when I'm operating & only move when I turn it.

After looking at the manual. Tightening the carriage bolt on the discharge shoot is the answer to my question. Another 6-10 inches coming my way! I'm so glad I went two stage over single!
