Ariens Plans Big Distribution Center

Ariens is consolidating it's midwest distribution centers in a 600,000-square-foot building in Somers, WI.

According to CEO Dan Ariens, this move is essential to Ariens long-term growth strategy.

It appears Ariens is ramping-up for bigger numbers, with products now offered at both Home Depot and Lowes, as well as local power machine dealers,

Hopefully, Ariens' legendary quality and excellent customer support won't be compromised as a result.

Thats awesome. Wonder if it explains the issue with my local Lowes having like no stock of Ariens anymore. When I got mine they had at least 8+ in stock, now I barely see one one or two at any one time on the floor. Then again they could just being selling that quickly.

Makes you worry once they commit to distribution through big box stores - to hit those price points quality usually goes down..... look at JD and Cub for examples. The box store stuff is no where near the Dealer stuff......
