Ariens replaced steel skids with poly under warranty

My local dealer told me to come in one day this week and they can submit a warranty claim and give me the poly skids on the spot for free. No idea if that is normal, but I see lots of folks spending money on the poly skids, so thought it might help save someone some money.

That the steel skids are grabbing the pavement and forcing frequent autoturn correction. Just got back from the dealer with my new poly skids. These things seem heavy duty.

Yeah, the poly skids are nice. They lead to a very smooth snow blowing experience Enjoy!

Hi, sorry for delayed response. I have a new Deluxe 24 and the dealer told me they would do the same for anyone with a new machine and having autoturn erratic behavior.

First snow cleared today with new skids. Awesome, incredible difference from stock.

I've replace my skids with 85mm scooter wheels. An added benefit of the scooter wheels was it is easier to move around garage.
