New Ariens 24 Platinum Video

Hello,

I'm new here but figured I would put up a video of my new Ariens 24 Platinum I bought and used for the first time this week. Very powerful machine in a small package.

As I mentioned in my intro post, I had a John Deere 828D for 17 years. It was too big for some of my tight areas and wasn't throwing all that far even with a new auger belt. I got $300 for it a month ago and began my intense research on my new toy/tool. I settled on the 24 Platinum when the predicted a foot of snow in New England this week.

I hope I have good luck with it.

Thanks - Bob

Certainly moves that snow.

Work fascinates me.

Good luck, I think that might be my dream machine. I like the idea of EFI, no carb. to worry about (although I suppose there is a cpu) and auto-turn.

I would love to see what it does with a 12"+ of the heavy wet stuff we got yesterday.

I don't have EFI, although that looks to be the wave of the future. My new machine would have yawned at 12" of heavy wet snow. Good luck with your decision.

I have that exact machine and we had 12" of heavy, wet snow and I was impressed. I don't have any video but it did very well.

Nice videos.

I also have that machine (EFI version - really like that feature).

Platinum 24's are just awesome blowers. There's no substitute for the big power they bring.

Yesterday I helped my neighbor during the big storm. He hadn't cleared anything during the storm, so his driveway was filled with 18" of snow. (He had one of those plow attachments for his lawn tractor - almost useless in that much snow).

The Platinum 24 just tore through it. My neighbor said he'd never seen a blower throw snow that far.

May you receive decades of enjoyment from your new toy!
