Tall chute on 924039 824

Hi all,
If anyone has the information to install a tall chute on a "79" 924039 it would be greatly appreciated.

cut the ring gear off any chute you want to use and weld it to the ariens ring gears that came on your blower. its that easy

Not everyone has airtools and a welder at their disposal.

Ariens ST824 and others with the worm gear type crank are a direct Bolt-on.

i have a welder and know people in autobody that will do it for free, in addition to having my own welding and air tools. anybody serious about working on snowblowers should have a decent air setup and a welder

Fantastic, I live in Schenectady and now I "have" a welder, or at least access to one. Need any beer, I have plenty !
