I can get one of these for 25 bucks max
not sure but i dont think they sell for much
dont see myself using it but i dont want it to go to the scrapper
part of me wants to fix it and put and impeller kit on it
i think i would invest more then its worth restoring it
motor runs
gear selector is frozen
what does anybody think?
should i grab it so it doesnt get scrapped?

Great Snowblowers. You Need to Squeeze the Clutch to Shift it. If it is still Stuck, Cleaning/Sanding the Hex Shaft Fixes that. Sounds like a Cheap Hobby "Toy". Be Careful, They "Multiply". I have Quite a Few of Them.

should i grab it so it doesnt get scrapped? IMHO> YES !! With a little work it should be a great snowblower and you can always turn around and sell it if you don't want to keep it.

Make sure the windows are up before the snow plow goes by !!

For $25, I'd give it a shot even though I'm currently unemployed and have no room nor need for a third blower!

I own 5 lawn mowers...I got 4 for free, all they needed was the carbs cleaned out (every one has roughly the exact same engine). I'll never buy a new lawn mower again...

Sometimes, yard machines just need a little attention and love and they come back to life.

Any working engine is typically worth at least $25 and everything else is gravy. If it can be made to work, so much the better.
I'd go for it.

Sure! Why not? For $25 if you don't wind up keeping it you could easily part it out.
