Model 922014; sn 001369; engine hs40-55440c

Hello, I am looking for information on which flywheel was used on this ariens snowblower? The one that was on the machine was aluminum and was broken when someone tried to take it off. The original aluminum flywheel had threaded holes for a puller.

I looked up your engine here:
Parts and Diagrams for Tecumseh HS40-55440C

And it looks like Tecumseh numbers 610845 and 610846.

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.

Thanks for the assistance. Is the flywheel 610845 aluminum or cast iron? What other engines use this flywheel?

No idea, and google wasn't able to locate any for sale either.

Best guess would be any of the HS35 HS40 and HS50 engines.

I wonder if yours was suppose to be aluminum. I always thought the old ones were cast iron. Wonder if a cast iron one bumped the engine to 5 HP

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.
