Ariens 924093

Hi guys, A buddy of mine just bought a Ariens 924093 from a repair guy. It came with the manuals. I am trying to find out some information for him and such and I can not find any photos or information any where. Can any body give me some information or steer me somewhere?

Thanks, G

Can't go wrong with starting at scot's 924 page:

https://scotlawrence.github.io/ariens/Page7.html

924093 would seem to be a mid 90s ST924. Does it look like this?

I am really trying to find out if it is a good machine and if there were any problems with it. All I saw on Scot's page was that it came out in 1995. He told me that there was no light.

I think most of us would love to get our hands on one. Ariens is a well respected brand and they have great customer support and most parts are still available.

There is a chance that even though the original configuration didn't have a headlight the engine might be capable or that it was replaced with one with a charging coil. You'd want to check the right side of the engine, just over the electric starter if so equipped for a single or dual wire terminating at a connector.

That is a great machine. I have a 924084 (ST1032) which is from that same era and it has been a flawless machine for the past 22 years. If I could find one locally I would surely jump on it!
