Tecumseh Sno King Ignition Consult

So, I'm curious about why my Ariens just up and quit on me this winter in the middle of the blizzard.

Pull it out of the garage, and yank the plug. Thumb over hole, it's got compression.

Feel around a little bit under the choke cover. Looks like a bingo:

The tan wire has an older female style spade connector. Would appear to go to the tab at the bottom of the throttle lever throw and ground out the ignition when you want to stop the engine.

BUT: there's no obvious place to connect it

Any ideas or pics that show where it goes?

Thanks!

Welcome to SBF Ragtop Man. It looks like you are missing the nylon block that wire would go to. Here is a link to our favorite small engine mechanic video that shows the linkage and missing piece.
