Greasy film seeping onto wheels

I have a 28 Deluxe 414cc and grease seems to be seeping onto the wheels and axle. Any ideas as to why?

2015 Ariens 28+ 414cc, drift cutters, poly skids, Ariens Cab. Debating about hand warmers.
2001 Yardworks 30/10.5 hp (sold)
1991 Yardman 24/5 hp (gave to son)
Large snow pusher for wife.

Every Ariens I ever had has done this also. Luckily it wipes off easily. I never gave it much thought, but it must be coming from grease on the axle.

Garage
That just sounds odd to me that there would be enough on the axle to mist/coat the tire. Maybe stain the wheel ?? I have a 28 deluxe that's new to me but I haven't had a chance to even take it out yet this year so hopefully some other Ariens guys with some hours on theirs can give some insight.
