need to know how to remove and replace left hand traction lever Do i have to remove control panel to get to the cam to remove clip

You should be able to find the Owners, Parts and Repair manuals for your machine on Ariens.Com From there, it should tell you.

49ford did you have to remove the panel? I need to
replace the lever also and it looks like it’s not coming out
Unless the panel/handle bar is disassembled.
