Itís in my LCT AX 414. It looks like something should snap into the middle. It was like that when I bought it used.

Nope. I just went to look at the Ariens Deluxe 24, uses an LCT engine and the Ariens Path Pro (same brand but 208 cc) and the gas cap on both looks like your photo.

I had a gas cap similar on a blower or mower, and it came with a small capsule that clipped into the cap. It was for some sort of gas stabilizer or treatment.

Yup, some years had a B&S branded fuel stabilizer capsule in there.

Had one of them on a B&S grass hacker. Could not, for the life of me, find a replacement capsule fer the thing.
