New to me ariens yesterday

For 250 from a dealer I just bought a st824! Good shape electric start needs replaced but that's it.im 45 this is my first running snowblower. So we haven't shoveled all winter looks to be a 10 inches deep of packed snow on the sidewalk so I just made a path next to it must be 2 feet deep made it through just fine although understandably slow but im happy picked up a new plug and stens oil Monday I'm gonna change it probably will order a new electric starer in 2 weeks.the 69 I'm guessing needs valve attention think I'll just tear it down and rebuild it as my summer project.

Impeller mod? You have my attention lol I'll look around for the info! Just installed a new plug. Snow is level with the top if the blower and it's warmer here now snows as heavy as can be she powered right through it. This summer I'll have it gone through front to back needs a new starter drift cutters cab and LED light kit new bottom blade and skids for the heck of it. I'm quite happy with it only using ethanol free gas with a dash of Lucas gas additive. I did a search last week on how to post pics I found nothing but I'll look again and post pics soon.😊

Search for "Snow Blower Impeller Kit" on Amazon and you should find it. Kinda expensive there though. I made my own rubber paddles with a short bit of baler belt from the local fleet farm store and a piece of 1" wide galvanized steel bar and stainless steel bolts/nuts. This really makes the impeller work better and throws the snow quite a long way now.
