Hand lever cracked

The left side hand lever on my newly acquired older 11528LE is cracked and needs to be replaced. Is this common? Just curious.

Iíve not seen one cracked but one of us may have one kicking around in spare parts.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

My 926LE did that this winter. I didn't change the handle. They soldered it in place.

What part of south eastern mass do you live, you may be local to a few of us, I’m in the Freetown New Bedford area, I’ll have to look up which ones I have and see if they match.

Good idea. It looks like the hairpin on the bar was missing and as a result putting pressure in the wrong place and cracking the handle at one of the existing welds. I suppose if I have to I could remove it and bring it to my friend to weld it.
