Compact 24 (920027) wiring capacity ???

So I'm in the process of taking delivery of my new Ariens - I see a lot of "LED upgrade how-to's" and have done two on my last two snowblowers - and LOVED it!!! I want to do the same on this new one.

My question here is what is the power capacity of the existing alternator - This model has a 20 Watt Halogen headlight now and also the spec sheet online says it has the capability to have heated hand grips installed - this is a new one for me - is the headlight circuit the same as the heated grip circuit - and if so - anybody have any idea of the total wattage I can hang on the little acessory wire??

Any ideas guys would be great!!

Thanks

Steve

While I'm not familiar with your specific model, the ariens models that I'm familiar with that have a 20W light and can support the optional grip heaters have a 60W stator.
The grip heaters power is tapped off the light circuit.
If you buy the Ariens optional grip heaters package it comes wth a new electrical harness.
You can find more info (Manuals, parts, part numbers etc.) for your model at:
