Seized 250cc on 921022

I have a 921022 with a seized motor (1150 ft/lbs , 250cc) my question is can I put a 1650 ft/lbs 342cc direct swap without modifying anything.? If I need to modify something some guidance would be greatly appreciated

I donít know if there are multiple mounting holes on that blower but the 254cc (what the newer ones are using) but from that size down is the smaller block and the step larger uses a larger block with different mounting bolt locations.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

Should line up as long as you get the same shaft size you should be able to use the same pillows, the different mounting locations are there just so they line up, Buddy also has I think the same model with the 250cc Briggs and heís loving it.

Why not Try to Free up the Seized motor? First, Fill crankcase with oil, and then Liberally Spray PB Blaster or penetrating oil in the spark plug hole. Put a Pipe wrench or large vicegrips on the crank, and slowly move it back and forth until it frees up. Then try starting it. You never know.
