Nice. 10hp for 24" auger would be so awesome.

Very nice!
that's an unusual model, probably:

924106 - ST1024 - 1997 ST1024 SHO
(or possibly 924323)

924106 was the first SHO model, from 1997.
the 924323 was also a 1024 SHO, an international model, from around 2000 to 2002 timeframe. then after those two, SHO wasnt seen again until 2015.

Got a Good Deal on it, as Owner couldn't get it Started. When I got it Home, I found the Primer Hose fell off the Carb. Started First Pull. Needed General Maintenance and a Good Cleaning.

Yeah, 2 of the ones I picked up this year for free from a neighbor:

An Ariens 924 had a mouse nest in the shroud and a bad friction disc…. new disc and new carb … runs great. Cleaned and paint touch up.

A Craftsman: Rust welded auger, thus broken gear and impeller shaft … freed the augers, new impeller worm shaft and its brass gear..... runs great. Cleaned and paint touch up.

People just find it easier to buy new … very good for us …
