2017 Ariens Deluxe 28 questions

Hello all, I'm new here and this certainly seems like a great place for snowblower advice and information.

We are in the process of moving from a townhouse to a single family home and will have to clear our driveway starting this winter. Our driveway is (bumpy) concrete mostly, with a small portion of gravel and a small portion right in front of the garage that is blacktop and it's about 1000-1200 feet long. I've been looking to purchase a snow blower and I've done a decent amount of research over the past few days. I'm learning from my research that Ariens seems to be one of the better regarded consumer brands, so they are a brand that I'm seriously considering purchasing.

Yesterday, I ran into someone selling a 2 year old, Ariens Deluxe 28 model that according to the seller has VERY few hours on it. It was purchased 2 winters ago and has been used for approximately 5-6 Mid-Atlantic snowfalls in total. I've checked out the specs for the new version of the Deluxe 28 and I was wondering what features would be missing from a 2 year old model? What additions and improvements have been made since then?

The current asking price is $700, does that sound like a reasonable price for that model of that age?

I have a feeling that I'm going to be spending a lot of time here reading and learning this winter.
