First time out with 7"

Well yesterday was my first time out with my new 30". It did a good job, but I do have one suggestion though. I wish there was a Left hand, or Right hand control operation. I am so used to having the power operated on the right side that makes it hard to remember which to push first. I will have more time on it though. We are expecting over 12" of snow on Sat, and Sunday. Had a lot of drifting. Went through 12" drifts no problem, and didn't go through very much gas. Even when it is set at full throttle.. Heated hand grips work GREAT. Had only gloves on, and they kept my hands warmer than not having any heated grips. Except for the hand controls.. It is a very good machine..

You will soon get used to the wheel drive clutch hand and the auger clutch drive hand difference from your previous machine. When repairing neighbours machines it is usual for the controls to be reversed from my Ariens. You get used to the change and then you get used to the change back. I find that in the early stages of the change that thinking about what you need to do before you do it helps the change come more quickly.

Well as of this Saturday when we pick up another 12+ inches.. I might be figuring it out. I do like the power, and the size. I guess it will just take time..
