Compact 24 question

I purchased my Compact 24 two years ago. So far Iíve been very happy with its ability.

Iím not sure if something is out of adjustment and Iíve looked for similar posts, so I figured Iíd ask.

The first and second stages seem to be working properly, but if I do more than a couple inches, the snow will start to come out the chute, but then stop. If I back up, itíll start coming out again. The snow isnít wet or slushy and Iíve sprayed the auger housing.

Is something out of adjustment?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Check your belt tension. You may have a loose belt that is slipping under load.
