Rapidtrak Pro 32"

I just plugged the serial number and model number into the Ariens website and it says this machine does not qualify for the extended warranty. Any ideas why?

This machine was delivered today and is a new machine. However, it is a leftover from last year. It has the Briggs motor.

For $99.00 I was willing to purchase the piece of mind.

I'll have to wait and call the company on Monday.

Any thoughts?

That's odd.

My dealer gave me my choice of the B&S (926060) or LCT (926078) versions of the Hydro Pro RapidTrak 28 when I bought new this year. Because of the larger gas tank on the B&S, I chose that. So mine is technically a 2018 model too.

However, I had no problem getting the $99 warranty extension.

Definitely call them Monday, as well as possibly your dealer.

Never mind. My mistake. You need to register the machine first before purchasing the warranty. I'm an idiot sometimes

LOL, welcome to the club and forum. Congrats on the new machine! Do a review on your new machine when you get the chance.

Thank you. Will do. I should have purchased this machine in the first place. Oh well, lesson learned. I got the scraper bar and skid height adjusted today as well as fresh, non ethanol fuel with stabilizer. Just waiting for snow baby!

Don't feel bad. I made the same mistake. Register, than buy the extended warranty.

Ariens are so well built and easily repaired that you can do any care yourself. So don't fret.

BTW, I have always said "peace" of mind in the context or your first post.

OTOH When my mother would be mad about something she'd offer a "piece" of her mind.

OK, language police out.

Good luck with your Rapidtrak. I'm completely satisfied with ours. Should be the last machine I need as the 'old' tape measure grows shorter
