ariens 921022 keeps turning to the left.

i just picked up a 921022, it has the hand clutch to cycle 1wd or 2wd.

in 2wd is runs straight just like its supposed to, but in 1wd, itll just sit there and do donuts.

is this working as intended, or is something wrong? i have an older unit (st1032) and in 1 wheel drive mode both wheels are powered and it runs straight. 2wd on that unit basically turns it into a solid axle.

Itís meant for turning, it makes one wheel free spin so you can make tight turns then re engage to go forward.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

The older machine has a differential that drives both wheels even when it's unlocked. Your newer one just disconnects one wheel so you can turn it more easily. It's not meant for straight runs.
