Governor trouble

Ariens 1332 , Tecumseh Snow King 13hp can not regulate rpm's , seems to be that governor is not working please HELP!!!! Thank you Chris

What is involved in the operation of the governor?

If the governorhas not been touched and there hasn't been any other engine problems the the rpms going up and down is probably in your carburetor.

See if there is a small screw with a spring on it in the center of the nut that holds the fuel bowl on.

If there is turn it a very slight bit out. See if that helps. By slight I mean about 1/8 of a turn
