Ariens question

Hello all my fiancé picked up a ariens tiller and from the model number I guess it was a snowblower that you could get a tiller attachment. Well it has the the tiller attachment, but no snowblower. My question is does anybody know more info of model, engine and other general info? Thanks

It looks like one of the 2+2 blowers that you could get tiller attachments for. Those are not self propelled, so if you get a blower attachment it has to be one of those 2 stage ones with the rubber augers to pull itself forward. Also, if he is using it for a tiller, make sure the air filter is on the engine.

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.

9.05 cubic inch for the engine as seen on your second picture. If you take a wire brush or some sandpaper to the top of the engine where it looks rusty where the spark plug is you should see an engine number. It will probably say something like H35xxxxx SER xxxx.

Those air filters are fairly generic so you might be able to take it up to a repair place that has some older parts in the back. They might be able to match up a used one for you. You will probably need some kind of mount for the filter.

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.
