Engine Swap, Model 910995 and 924048

I just have a quick question. I have a model 910995 with a blown motor and a model 924048 with a blown gear case. I want to put the working motor from the model 924048 on the model 910995. Both are 7hp Tecumseh that look at first glance to be identical but the question is, will this work? Is there anything that will need to be modified to make it happen or is it a straight swap out and bolt on?

Should be an easy switch. You can also get one of those $100 Harbor Freight engines, but if you already have the Tecumseh go for it.

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.
