Help Defective Ariens Deluxe 30 Snow Blower

I'm new to this forum and hoping I can get some advice. First off I am by no means intending to speak poorly of Ariens. I originally sold my Ariens SnowTek machine to buy a bigger heavy duty snow blower as I find that I am now snow blowing many driveways on our street. The SnowTek worked flawless so I went with the Deluxe 30. I bought it Dec 31 2013 new. I used it once in 2014 and noticed starting issues. I emailed Ariens and never heard back. This year I could barely get it started. Off it went for warranty service. First the spark plug wasn't gapped right. The machine came back and it still barely started when cold. So it went back and it was determined it had low compression due to valve issues, primer bulb line was cracked and the gear case gasket was leaking. Repairs performed and the machine came back. I still can't start it be hand and have to rely on the electric start and no the starter is failing from all the starting issues. This has been going on for 6 weeks. This machine has about 4 hours of use and has spent more time on a trailer going in for service the service centre agrees its a lemon. Seeing the machine is so new I've asked for it to be replaced due to all the issues and I don't trust it but I've been unsuccessful. We have had 4 bad storms and this machine has been of little help. Am I being unreasonable? The authorized service centre has been excellent. I've been patient thus far but I am now out of patience. Thank you for your time and advice.

Agreed. There's lemon laws and arbitration when you purchase a defective automobile everything else your up to the mercy of the manufacturer to step up to the plate.

I have also been underwhelmed with Ariens customer service although I've only had to contact them once. I then gave up on them and came here for help.
My suggestion would be to try to interact with the dealer who sold it to you. They might have more leverage with Ariens than one customer.
Might be worth a shot?

I did speak with them initially but being a big box store they basically said I had to deal with Ariens authorized warranty service center. That was 6 weeks ago but I did place another call to them today.

I am having the same problems with my new snowblower and Ariens support refusing to resolve the issues to my satisfaction. Will be posting a new thread with my situation, but please keep me updated on how your problem is resolved.

Maybe just explain the trouble on this thread and we will try to give some advice until Ariens contact you from here. It is very commendable on their part to try to resolve issues through here. Good Luck

Snow Removal Apparatus I own:
Ariens ST1530DLE, and good ole arm powered scrapper.
The 15 HP is a new Ducar engine sold

Normex is correct that I am here to help resolve these issues for you guys. I have tried to reach out in a public message to several of you, but I'm not sure if you saw the messages.

If you would send me a private message with your model and serial number as well as an explanation of what the unit is doing, I can reach out to our Tech Service group for help. It would also be helpful to have your contact information so they can call you directly if needed.

I look forward to hearing from you and will work with you to help your situation.

Thanks so much.
