New platinum 30

Just ordered my new platinum 30 from snowblowers direct. Anybody got any info this particular blower. I went with last years model for the briggs over the lct engine. Think I will be happy with my purchase?

Ariens 921018 - Platinum ST30DLE (30") 342cc Two-Stage Snow Blower

Thanks

Cody

Thanks going from this,

Still works great, giving to brother in law. Put the greyhound 6.5 on it two years ago

The tecumse that was on it threw a rod at the end of my first season owning it. I worked it hard though.

Welcome Cody! The new thrower should make short work of that driveway.

I hope, as you can see the old ford did the job, but it was a chore.

Congrats on the new iron Cody. The old girl sure don't owe you much. Wow!

Dang, Cody,
Real nice machine you got. I think I'd move my driveway across the road. Doesn't seem to be near the amount of snow over there. Do you have drift fences on both sides? You cleared all that driveway out with that old blower?? Did you get all that snow at once or does it just keep blowing in? I hope I never see that much snow again.

Joe

Yup I did all that with the old ford. The muffler would cut into the bank as I would move along. The majority of the wind comes from the west so we only put the fench on that side. I've since moved the fench farther away from the drive and that seems to help. The last two winters havnt been as bad as that one, but the driveway always is a mess at the mouth. Cant wait to see how the new ariens does compared to the old ford. My neighbor got a new husqvarna last year.
