I hear kind of a slap Rob, but I'm not hearing bearing noises. Is there play in the shaft if you try to move the impeller up or down or side to side?

Heard it. Yeh. Can you move the auger shaft or impeller shaft in any way? It actually sounds like a tube spinning around another tube and fitting very loosly and wobbling around. I tried watching for movement but the camera is moving too much.

That's the thing there's not really any play, but I did notice if I watch the auger gear box it does move around a bit, hard to tell from shaky phone video.

Maybe one of the Ariens tekkies will chime in. It sounds like a bad/nonexistent bearing to me.

Am I wrong to think that if I get the auger bushings and impeller bearing I should be good. Is it only one bearing for impeller? One blowup I looked at it looked like it might be two and they were 38$ each
