CL find

I've mentioned before how I envy some of you guys and the CL finds in your area, especially off season. This ad is really not uncommon around here. There was one most of last year running for a '79 24" for $1000 that had no skids on it. I hope for $850 he's throwing in the vise-grips

Nice newer engine but I think when they mounted the engine they found out the chute crank rod didn't fit, just a guess. It's missing and to me it's more important to have that crank than the new engine.

I got my Ariens 32" with a blown engine free. No way I'd pay that kind of money for that thing. Even with a chute crank and new engine I'd say they are asking more than double the value of it.

Then there was the power handle a guy in MN had for sale with the snowblower and mower and all he was asking was $5 !! It was gone before I could get say I'd take it and get an address.

I don't know there are a lot of good deals around, you just have to be vigilant, willing to make a little drive, and prepared to do a little repair/tune up work.
