Screws for the carb cover of a 1974 8hp 24 Ariens

I took the cover off and lost two of the screws. Can someone tell what size the screws are to put the cover back on? I looked at the parts manual and they only list parts for the tractor or the blower, not the engine or carb.

I've got a bag of 8-32 x 3/8" and another of 10-32 x 3/8 one says old 5hp and the other says 8hp Tec heater box. I have one old Tec 7hp carb and 8-32's fit, but it's the narrow bracket. I think the wider 8hp and up bracket takes the 10-32's. You could just take the bracket off the carb and size it at the hardware instead of the whole carb.
You could just buy 2 of each and live on the edge.
I should note I have hex head (allen wrench) stainless screws. I hate tiny phillips heads. I also use little star washers on the carb box, you can get the same vibration protection with a drop of loc-tite.

Thanx. I got both sizes in my tool box at work. Now if I can get the taller shoot on my machine I'll be all set.
