69 tractor rebuild

Im getting ready to replace the friction disc and axle bearings in my 69 ariens.
Is there anything I should know about dissassembly? reassembly? How much play can there be from the diff, gear to the shaft? How tight is the chain supposed to be? Is there a manual that shows this? Thanks in advance (also where can I find part numbers?)

Repair manual

Try the Ariens website. You should be able to download the owners manual and possibly a repair manual, or at least some parts diagrams that will allow you to see how it comes apart.
