32" Blower 1970

Just want to step in and say it is a good thing there were changes and "tweaks" made through the years. We all like the oddballs and big machines. I have a 10/32 (924-044) in my garage now. Well last night I picked up a 10,000 series 7 hp with a 32" bucket (10955 ser. 055745). Let me say it is a very good thing they improved the 32's quickly!! The good is that the scraper blade was reinforced with an angle iron brace to "try" to keep the bottom straight. The bad is the stress crack at the bottom of the impeller housing. That is why they put the reinforcements in. More bad is the weak top housing that is buckled. It needs that 924 bucket bend. I can weld and can fix the stuff but keep in mind, that is what Ariens did and does now. It is just a pleasure to make the old stuff work! Keeps me happy! Pete
