Ariens parts in Europe

I was just wondering, where do you buy your parts for an old Ariens snowblower online in Europe?
The parts i'v ordered now did come from the US, but it takes away a bit of the fun if you have to pay more in shipping cost then what the parts do cost.

Lightbulb additional information

Stebekk,
I was thinking about your parts availability situation a little more.
Depending on what the importation/customs taxes and fees may be in Norway, you may or may not be able to buy Ariens parts cheaper in country than by ordering overseas, primarily from the US.
In some cases with certain parts, if you need replacement items for a machine of the age you state yours is, the only solution may be to order from the US.
Also, since I have no idea how wide spread or prolifically Ariens snowblowers were marketed and sold in Norway and the rest of Europe, you may find a regional distributor isn't too anxious to be ordering parts for your older machine.
If you are looking for something in particular, you might take a look at the eBay US web site to attempt to find what you need.

Here's a handy historical reference resource I discovered for Ariens snowblowers that may be useful to you.

Lightbulb more info

I did an eBay search for Ariens snowblower 910018 and here are the results:
Ariens snowblower 910018 | eBay

One of the more interesting items listed here is an Ariens parts manual which includes the serial numbers of your "tractor", as well as your Sno-Thro attachment. If you don't have this parts list, or if it isn't available to you in Europe or Norway, this hard print copy might prove to be very useful to you.

Great pics of the pages....

Stebekk,
I was wondering if you are using your machine currently or are you awaiting parts for needed repairs? What is the volume of snow you typically see in your area of Norway? What have you been using in the past to clear snow previous to buying the Ariens?

I looked around a little more for info which might be helpful to you.
You may have already accessed some of these sources, so I may be rehashing things you know or are aware of already. If so, I apologize for replowing plowed ground.

Here's a couple of parts sources which might be helpful references as to costs, at least here in the US, relating to parts for your machine. Both include part numbers as well as excellent parts diagrams of your machine, which if converted to pdf documents, would allow you to duplicate the original Ariens printed parts list I cited in my previous message below. Of course, shipping costs are always computed on a total order, so that cannot be known upfront without placing an order. I will say however, here in the US, shipping costs are always seemingly on the increase and then there's the mysterious "handling charge" that sometimes gets added on. Unfortunately, no matter how small or insignificant a needed part may be in terms of size volume or weight, often a shipping charge can approach the cost of the part. Its almost obscene to realize that, but its often true.
C'est la vie.....

Also there's more info in the following link, which include the attached photos of your model number.
