model help needed

if someone could ballpark the year or model on this little guy i saved from the crusher i'd appreciate it. engine is locked up tight so at some point i will most likely be stripping whatever shipable parts are still good. i just want to have some more info to give the friend who will end up listing the parts on ebay if it doesn't sell complete first. the model numbers are gone off the tag, the engine numbers can't be read even by doing a rubbing. i know about the nice ariens site scot put together but, i didn't see this guy. possible i simply scrolled past it tho.

Its on the site!

http://gold.mylargescale.com/scottyc...ens/Page6.html

It's a 1970's Ariens 22,000 series.
with no numbers, its hard to guess at anything closer than "sometime in the 70's!"
there wasnt much variation in that series from year to year..

I would just call it "Mid-70's Ariens 22,000 series"

Scot
