Ariens 24" Compact price

Hey guys, looking to pick up a new snowblower, there is a guy near me that selling an Ariens 24" compact that he bought new the winter of 14/15, so its two years old. He is asking $350 for it, is that a good price? Should I jump on this deal? Not positive if it would work for my needs. We just bought a house that is 6,500 ft above sea level. so not sure how much snow we might get and if its under powered, i would like to be able to sell it. What are the going prices for Ariens 24" compact used?

Thank you for all your help!

I would say $350 is a very good price for only a 2-year old compact 24.
Price new would be about $900:

So yeah, if you are in the market, I would go for it!

Your average snowfall is 66 inches:

Which is decent, a bit on the low side overall (compared to many of us in this forum!) but still a decent amount to contend with every winter..I would say the compact 24 would be fine for your needs..It shouldnt be under-powered at all, if anything, it might even be a bit over-powered, especially if most of your snow only comes in 1" to 2" at a time..but if you typically get snows in the 3" to 8" range, that snowblower would be fine..

Draper doesn't get as much snow as say.. Salt Lake and Davis County and the Ogden area, so I'm betting this will be just fine for ya. Go for it. Awesome deal. Jump on it NOW.

Don't wait, buy it! Great machine, but if you don't like it, you'll get more for it when you move.
