need help navigating vintage Ariens snowblower

Hi! I'm new here. I recently inherited my neighbor's vintage Ariens snowblower, and have a few questions. First, I was wondering if anyone can verify it's actual age. I'm assuming it's a 1967, as that's the year he said he bought it (don't have an owner's manual). The serial number is: 10M5 009269, and then there's a series of numbers engraved to the left of that: 7476125239 19 on the back of the engine. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is a '67, or a good website to go to to confirm its age?

Second, does anyone have any good recommendations/suggestions of a repair shop or Ariens dealer in the St. Paul/Mpls, MN area that would be willing to take a look at, and fix if necessary, this type of snowblower? It was well cared for (my neighbor used to fix and maintain it himself), but the last time I saw it running was 2009, and it's been sitting in a shed for the last five years or so. It's clean (no oil or gas in the machine, and spark plug was taken out), but not sure if the transmission or belts are good, and I don't have enough condfidence to take it apart to check.

Third, what type of gasoline would be recommended for a 1960s Ariens snowblower? The machine says 'regular gasoliine' on it, but I do know that the oxygenated gas at the pumps can gunk up carburetors. Would I need to use an additive?

Any advice and information would be greatly appereciated!

Yep, its could be a 1967 model, or a 1968.
Look for a tag on the side of the engine, like this:

and post all the model and serial numbers on the tag..one of the engine numbers is a date code.
