Pleasant Surprise at Arien's dealer

I was about to order some handwarmers for my new Ariens Deluxe 28 on the internet. I hesitated because the Arien's Accessories Guide and the Owner's Manual showed two different part numbers. I decided to go to the dealer to find out the right part number. Out of curiosity, I asked about the price and he said $69.99 which was at least $10 cheaper than anything else I could find. They had to order it, and in a few days it arrived. When I went to pick it up, they even gave me some helpful installation tips and showed me some of the units on the floor with handwarmers installed.

I guess I'll have to include a look at my dealer for anything else I need to purchase for my blower.

There are some dealers that are diamonds in the rough. A friend of mine years ago bought a snowblower from a dealer and it had some problem where it would throw the drive belt all the time the dealer sent his guy down to fix it but it would just keep doing it so he took it back to his shop and worked on it all night and drove it down to my friend the next day fixed. Just great service!

There are some dealers near me that are the same price for parts as online. So thats were I do most of my shoping for parts and most of the time they have what I want in stock. Yesterday I bought a new reccoil starter for my toro 2450 . Even thow I paid 6.25 tax it was 2 dollers cheaper than getting mailed to me.

Who do you use? I went to Boston Lawnmower in Westborough, and even though I showed up 4 minutes before they closed, the guy spent 15 minutes helping me and finding the parts I needed. They seemed pretty nice all around.
