ariens 30" EFI

absolute beast of a snow blower. live in the upper peninsula of michigan, 200" of snow so far, this machine has started with one pull EVERY time. absolutely destroys huge drifts, throws 50 ft. plus. best snowblower i have ever had.

I was wondering how well the EFI worked. Do you find it has more power than a carb version of the smae blower, or did you just want the latest and greatest? I have a carb Platinum 30 SHO.

I agree! While I have been critical of my new Ariens SHO, it does toss the snow!
Right now it works well throwing powder and packed powder, I will be curious to see how it does in the wet spring storm chunder dumps.

My snow clearing equipment:
Ariens Platinum Track SHO 28
Atlas 2 cycle single stage for the deck
24" snow shovel
14" snow shovel
Husqvarna 357 cc (gone)
Craftsman 357 cc (gone)
Troy-Bilt 5.5 HP, 24" (gone)

Thanks for posting your impressions on the Ariens EFI. Do you think there is any difference in fuel consumption ??

Make sure the windows are up before the snow plow goes by !!
