Question CC 3X HD for light snow removal

Howdy! New CC owner here. I'm waiting as I type for my new 3X 24 HD to be delivered. We recently had a small snow storm (2-3"). How does this machine work in lower snowfall amounts?

when I get 2-4 inches I leave the 2 stage in the shed and use the single stage Toro 38190 I've got, same for wet or slushy conditions

Works fine if you have your skid plates low enough (if youre doing pavement then they should be almost bottomed out). But like all blowers in thin snow you may have to quicken your pace to allow the snow to build up enough in your bucket to be thrown out by the impeller.
