Cub Cadet 24" Two Stage Snowblower. Chock Lever Removal. Model#31AM6BSR596

Good afternoon everyone, I am looking for some assistance on how to remove the choke lever knob on my Cub Cadet Snow blower Model #31AM6BSR596. I Think there may be a screw in the centre hold it. I tried prying up, and would not come off. I need to take it off to clean my carb as my snow blower will not start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was trying to find some more details, but only came up with this. I don't know how it comes off. If there isn't a set-screw, I would tend to think it is just a friction fit knob or a clip design that would pull off the same way, or maybe a Tang that needs depressed through a small hole to unlock it. However, pull on it carefully and evenly. If it doesn't feel like it wants to let go, look around some more. I can't imagine it being too complicated since they don't want to spend a lot of time on the assembly floor; know what I mean!?
