Brand new 3X 26" strange noise when disengauging auger, bilt with wrong parts.

model # 31ah55ta756

Member was having problems with a noise on his brand new three stage blower he purchased. Turns out there might be a problem with them from the assembly line where the wrong (too long) belt was installed at the factory.

Here is the link the the thread: https://www.snowblowerforum.com/forum...attling-2.html

Post number 18 is where he found out: After going to HD and showing them the issue, baffling them and their calling cub cadet... There was an issue with my model, generally. Seems that some machines were assembled with incorrect auger belts (mine had a too large tractor belt hence the hitting on finger), and incorrect size pulleys.

If you have this model and have the belt hitting the cover or hitting the belt finger you too might have the wrong parts installed.
