Not a bargain however is in the lower side only because it's a Honda but still a single stage and they are a plentiful. No one wants them.

They are highly sought after in my area. Used electric starters for these go for over $100+. Nice machines.

In NJ there are tens of single stage listed on CL. Some $15 and not running, don't know why; others are $50 and up running, but many are right around $100, and there are a number of Hondas. If I had to choose one snowblower, single or two stage, it would be two stage.

Other than having a Honda engine, does the Honda single stage perform any better than any other single stage? It can't perform better than a two stage.

There has been a lot of discussion here on how good the 621 is.I haven't had a single stage so don't know how good they are. I think people use them for decks, walkways , and light snow.

I'd love to have about 20 to sell next winter if I could get them for 15-50 dollars.

I live in the snow belt in cleveland so we get our fair share of wet snows and large snows. i started off when i moved to the belt with an Ariens 724 it worked well but took up lots of space in the garage.

once i started fixing and flipping blowers i came across many brands of single stages. as you can see by my Sig i dont have the ariens anymore. if you stick with Toro or honda single stages anything 4.5 hp and up it will blast through 99% of anything i get around here as long as the Scraper and paddles are in good condition it will throw snow with most 2 stages probably not exactly as far but comparable.

i would put my HS621 or 3650 against any 5/22 2 stage blower out there.

Toro snow commander 7hp RTEK ...honda HS720 GC190 OHC
Toro ccr3650 6.5hp RTEK ....Ariens sno-tek 26" 208cc LCT
Ariens st824 924082 HMSK 80 ....Ariens path pro 136cc
