Garage
augers look pretty good. have you inspected it? i would give it a thorough test drive, forward and reverse and listen for any noise from the trannies.

why is he selling?

well, anyway 500 dollars would be a good deal if the major components are OK. 828's are at least 23 years old but if this one has been taken care of you could get another 25 years out of it.

I have an excellent 828 and I got a free one from a neighbor that he was gonna junk. great for parts.

It does look very clean and well taken care of. If you look closely to the bottom of the auger housing sides you can see that the folded edges seem to be sound (don't see that often). Also the auger housing top edge is nice and straight, most used Honda 2 stage snowblowers have bends/dents on that area.....

Got an answer back from the seller stating I'm second on the list, if the first one doesn't buy it he is going to let me know, so..... will see what happens.....
